In my initiatory experience with mushrooms, after I turned my attention to my own patterns of manifestation, I saw that the mushrooms could teach me and I invited them to do so. As soon as I did, I found that everything in my experience could impart wisdom and understanding. The deeper I went into the mushrooms, the easier it was to see and understand that I could choose which aspects of my experience I wanted to include in my spiritual lessons. Just like waking into a dream, I had the power to change anything in my experience, at least in terms of how I chose to relate to things and let them express their meanings to me. I knew I could change what I allowed into my experience and what I wanted to work with. There was a profound sense of freedom in this realization. I had the power to navigate my inner world at will, yet also to surrender to it, freely accepting the lessons that came.

The Witness allows spírítual seekers to step back and look that their patterns from a somewhat removed perspective.
